THROUGH my work with the National Autistic Society (NAS), helping to raise awareness of autism which is a serious, lifelong and disabling condition, I have learnt about two really exciting bike rides, which I wanted to let your readers know about.
Cycling from London to Amsterdam and London to Reims in France - both events are set to be fantastic fun. Those taking part will be helping the over half a million people in the UK with autism and supporting crucial NAS services.
Autism is still greatly misunderstood and much more common than many other conditions which get far more attention.
If you are interested in finding out more about the bike rides, contact the NAS on 08450 509 001 or e-mail getmilesmore@nas.org.uk.
