HERE we go again. It's a beautiful, warm evening and someone decides it's time to light a bonfire.
We, and I am sure other people, rushed around closing windows, vents and doors to try to keep out the choking smoke.
Why do people have bonfires when Fareham Council collects all garden rubbish? If one bag is not enough you can ask for another. Also, there is a very good amenity site quite close by, where garden rubbish is recycled.
I think councils should ban all bonfires in gardens. They certainly do not help the environment.
MRS M P ROGERS, Locks Heath, Fareham.
