FEELING unwell all day at the full council meeting I presented a local residents petition on trying to block off a cut-way to help prevent anti social behaviour from some young.
At the end of a long day leaving the civic centre I came over faint and collapsed on the pavement.
Four young men and a young girl not only helped me back to my feet but stayed and reassured me thant I was OK.
After five or ten minutes they then even escorted me to the bus stop and waited with me as I got on the bus home. I was so grateful and indebted to the help they all gave me.
Young people today? I’ll tell you what they are like.
