IT was good to read that Roy Perry admits that his party got it wrong with the ‘Save the Pound’ campaign and scaremongering that the euro would bankrupt the European Union. Perhaps he along with Ken Clarke, Michael Heseltine and other realistic politicians should question, whether they belong to the right party.
You have only got to look at history to find we were always Europeans and indeed England used to be joined to France, before the Channel was formed.
It is an absolute nonsense that someone, through fighting wars, can draw a line on a map and then claim we are all different! In the meantime, you have men in red coats, riding huge horses with packs of dogs chasing a rag covered in a scent. It is bad enough cowardly people hunting furry little animals in the name of sport, also others who race horses simply to keep punters happy, and yet gambling is meant to be frowned upon! “Please, would the human population grow up’’. Just look at the way we behave, it is a nonsense.
