REGARDING the allotments issue, surely the council’s latest Health and Safety offering is sheer agonising tripe and should not prevail over common sense and fair play.
To think we call ourselves Homo Sapiens – wise man! What, I wonder, isthe Latin for Sometimes-wise-but-sometimes-daft-as-a-brush-man?
