I AM from Germany and recently came to your country to visit friends and family relations. I must comment on your drivers here in UK as compared to Germany.
In Germany drivers respect cyclists. They drive around, not through! They do not beep their horn or shout from cars at cyclists.
I visited your great city of Southampton for three weeks and in that time have felt severely threatened by your drivers. What is the problem? I read your highway code and law before I came here, would you not do the same if visit Germany?
We would not do the same in Germany, so I ask of you – why here?
