NO, Mr Snowdon is not the only one fed up with reading about the Titanic. Don’t think I am unfeeling, but everyone seems to want to make money out of a tragedy that shouldn’t have happened if it hadn’t been for the greed of a certain shipping company trying to make another record. As a boy in Shirley we had a neighbour who lost a husband and was left with two children.
I have not been in town to see it yet, but I also think pictures of that structure they are building alongside the Civic Centre make it look like a row of billboards.
