HERE we go again.
The British taxpayer having to cough up billions and now, it seems, trillions to save the euro.
Our currency is pound sterling, we are outside the euro, in which case we should NOT be bailing it out.
We fight other countries’ wars for them and rebuild them and give them money. NOW THIS.
This country is in dire need of this kind of money ourselves to prop us up, don’t see other countries in line to help us. And who’s to say even more countries won’t go belly up? So we help them all? Give over.
I for one am fed up, cheesed off and brassed off with it all just like so many others.
It’s got to end sometime and soon before we all hit rock bottom.
Germany seems to be going strong and just waiting to pounce on all the weak EU countries when they can’t defend themselves I fear.
So it wouldn’t surprise me at all if all this wasn’t well and truly planned.
TERESA RUMSEY, Lymington.
