I WOULD like to ask Hampshire police about the text number, 80999 that is/was being used to report drink-drivers. Does this work?
The reason I ask is that I reported two drink-drivers with the relevant information, registration number, direction of travel etc.
Yesterday I saw one of the drivers that I reported still driving! Does this mean that my effort was a waste of time?
Did the driver get stopped? Or did he make it home?
I have done my part so why didn't the police do theirs?
