IN response to Alex Shepherd’s letter (Letters, February 17), we apologise for any misunderstanding but we would like to clarify to all Daily Echo readers and our customers that we still have loose oranges available.
They are now sold by the kilogram rather than individually.
Asda have no plans to withdraw any of their loose fresh produce range.
Decisions to sell oranges per kilo rather than individually are not made locally.
