WHAT is it with bureaucrats who appear to only know to use the “iron fist” and when, having done so, find their actions appear in the local media, immediately back-pedal and attempt the “velvet glove” approach? Surely they should be able to understand by now the most logical and realistic method is to completely reverse their modus operandi?
