I WAS interested in the sick review/DSS meetings. I attended a review in early May. It was scheduled to last 40-60 minutes, it lasted 15 minutes. I suffer from physical, visual and mental issues.
At no time did the doctor, who was very old, examine me, never mind look at me. She asked me 10/12 questions and said I would hear the result in several weeks.
I was asked to provide proof of identity and I paid £17.50 for a birth certificate. None of my proof was looked at, so I could have been anyone.
Result: I was considered fit for work. As I say, no physical examination at all! No wonder so many people pass.
