I WOULD like to express my gratitude to Councillor David Harrison for the work that he does in Hounsdown.
Whilst walking my dog I found a shrub on a bit of open land had invaded the pathway, it was hanging over the path and the only way to avoid this was to leave the pavement completely, which is what I did.
Jacobs Gutter Lane is one of the main routes in the area and is very busy I know schoolchildren, mothers with small children and the elderly use the pathway.
I chose David Harrison as he is a councillor for Hampshire County Council and also New Forest District, I emailed him and within a very short time he had confirmed that he would get this done, two days later I found that all the overhanging plants and bushes had been cut back and the pathway was clear.
LINDA FRANCIS, Hounsdown, Totton .
