IN response to the letter in the Daily Echo, August 4 (“Oak Trees in Distress” from Sally Hurst), we have a large oak tree at the back of our property, and like Sally have noticed the leaves are falling before they are fully open.
They are withered and seem to have a mildew on them. We would also like to know what the problem is and if anyone has any ideas.
