I AM writing in reply to Sally Hurst’s letter (August 4) regarding oak trees in distress.
I live in Lordswood , Southampton , and am surrounded by oak trees. I have also commented on the way that they are dropping very early and seem to be in quite a sorry state. Again is this due to the weather or disease?
Can anyone shed any light on this problem?
