PEOPLE across Southampton are soaking up the sunshine as the UK prepares for its second heatwave.
Forecasters at the Met Office anticipate temperatures could take off as high as 31C on Thursday.
Residents saw road disruptions, school closures, and health warnings issued after a level three heatwave was declared in July.
People took to Southampton's parks and beaches to keep cool and safe on Tuesday.
