  Transport for South Hampshire Better Bus Area Fund: Call for Expressions of Interest TfSH has been awarded £4.5m of DfT funding following a successful bid to the Better Bus Area Fund developed in partnership with the South Hampshire Bus Operators Association (SHBOA). Bus operators operating buses in South Hampshire are invited to bid for funding subject to the granting regime which will be outlined as part of the process. Expressions of Interest are welcome from bus operators currently operating in South Hampshire who wish to bid to deliver tho following bus enhancements within the period of 1st June 2012-31st march 2014:- - On Bus Wi-Fi - Next Stop Audio & Visual Announcements - LED Lighting - Internal Bus Refurbishment The process is open to ALL bus operators currently operating scheduled services in South Hampshire on routes that have operated for at least six months and/or have a minimum of six months remaining on a tendered contract. There is a contract for operators to contribute and part fund different elements and a need to maintain the equipment in operational vehicles in the area until 31st March 2017 (or provide like for like replacement at their own cost once the grant has been made).
