How to donate to help the memorial walls appeal:

Cash collection points have been set up at the Daily Echo's offices in 17 High Street, Eastleigh, Hannover Buildings in Southampton city centre, and our headquarters in Test Lane, Redbridge.

Donations can also be made at the Royal British Legion offices in Eastgate Street, the Frontline Army Surplus store at 12 Bargate Street, or the chamber of commerce offices in Bugle Street.

The chamber has been signing up businesses to act as collecting agents on behalf of their employees. It is also accepting cheques made payable to "The Memorial Wall Appeal".

Donations can also be made directly to the appeal fund at HSBC bank: A/c 12576791, sort code 40-42-18.
