n MYTHOLOGY meets modernity in Poor Medusa at The Point tonight and tomorrow.

History and mythology have given us a wealth of stories and characters, heroes and monsters.

One such creature who has stayed in the minds of humanity is Medusa. A single look from her will turn you to stone, never to awaken again.

It is a merciless curse – but what of the woman under it? Poor Medusa, presented by former Point Youth Theatre member Richard Gunston, explores just that.

After thousands of years, Medusa still lives in isolation in a cave, until a man of our time finds her, and delves into the memories of the monster to find the person at its heart.
