ANNE OF GREEN GABLES

ANNE has bright red pigtails, a vivid imagination and a fiery spirit.

When she is mistakenly sent for adoption to the Cuthberts, who wanted a boy to help at their farm, she turns a rural community upside down. Avonlea’s newest resident is honest, wonderstruck, full of joy and infectious energy.

Join Anne and a host of memorable characters in a story about family, friendship and the fun of childhood.

Forest Forge’s latest offering can be seen at Hanger Farm in Totton on Monday night.

FEATHERS IN THE SNOW

LENA must choose a husband. Her decision sets off an astonishing chain of events: a journey that includes amagical bird, a talking leopard, a tidal wave, a Sea Witch, a lost soldier, a devious dolphin, a love-sick octopus, a war...and a trail of feathers in the snow.

Nuffield Youth Theatre Director, Max Lindsay (Great Expectations), directs Feathers in the Snow, an epic story of magic and migration in collaboration with acclaimed playwright and children’s author, Philip Ridley.

Described as ‘a Brechtian sugar rush of storytelling’, Feathers in the Snow explores how stories give meaning to random events and our constant need to find somewhere we call ‘home’.

Philip is a Time Out and Evening Standard award-winning writer.

Feathers in the Snow is at the Nuffield until tomorrow night.
