A LARGE cast was the feature of this pantomime.

Stage manager, Alick Leech, is to be congratulated on making sure no entrances were missed. Abi Simper (Muddles) got the audience involved early on and the appearance of the Evil Queen (Sarah Channell) led to a noisy reception that she milked in true tradition.

The sets were excellent and the costumes (Chris Brewster) colourful. Both the Adult and Junior Chorus were well choreographed (Michelle Cummins, Mary Gouldsmith) and rendered their songs well.

This was a debut for director and writer Paul Munday and he should be pleased with the outcome.

Performances from Nicole Cummins (Snow White), Aaron Jones (Prince) and Chris Thompson (Dame Sarah – with the table lamp hat) all created the right pantomime feel. The dwarfs were well marshalled by Wendy Groctott (Growler).

Fairy Dizzy Spells (Charlotte Seal) aided the story narrative and appeared each time after pyrotechnics – a special feature of the production.
