ALL are welcome to attend the staged wedding of a particularly jittery couple, in a drama commissioned by Theatre Royal Winchester and Hat Fair that takes place in six rooms at the Holiday Inn, Winchester.

The action is performed by actors in separate rooms, each observed by a roving audience who become immersed in the story of one couple’s wedding preparations.

I Do is a bit like Gavin and Stacey meets Don’t Tell the Bride, where the audience are onlookers, rather like a live studio audience. The drama unfolds in six rooms of the hotel with bride, bridegroom and their party getting ready for their imminent wedding.

I Do is the new show by Dante or Die, a theatre company that specialises in devising promenade theatre.

The audience moves in groups around the building to see each of the scenes played out before them.

The show stars Anna Carteret (Insp Kate Longton in 80s TV series Juliet Bravo).

Dante or Die return to Theatre Royal Winchester and Hat Fair, following their performance of La Fille a La Mode in summer 2011.

The show runs from tonight until Sunday.
