A VILLAGE amateur dramatic group will put on its first summer show in seven years next month.
Worthy Players, based in Kings Worthy, has decided to give two of its members the chance to make their directing debut with Murder By the Book.
The play, by Duncan Greenwood and Robert King, follows writer Selwyn Piper as he crosses swords with his venomous ex-wife Imogen.
His secretary finds herself caught in the crossfire and the man next door comes to her rescue.
Murder By the Book is at Kings Worthy’s Jubilee Hall in the Community Centre in Fraser Road on August 14-15 and 21-22 at 7.30pm. Tickets cost £7 and £6 for concessions.
To book go to theworthyplayers.co.uk, email tickets@theworthyplayers.co.uk or call 07599 981922.
