IT promises to be a tremendously terrifying treat for the whole family this half term.

Nuffield Theatre presents the critically acclaimed production of Roald Dahl’s The Witches from Tuesday to Saturday.

This new musical show, currently on a national tour, boasts mind-boggling illusions that will flabbergast.

Witches absolutely detest children. They find them revolting and are planning to wipe them out and make them disappear. But one brave young boy and his grandmother have a plan to get rid of the witches for good… if only they can avoid being turned into mice.

Roald Dahl’s classic story The Witches is brought to life on the stage and contains stupendously scary bits.

Nikolai Foster directs a hugely talented cast of actor-musicians featuring Sarah Ingram (Grand High Witch), Fox Jackson-Keen (Boy) Karen Mann (Grandma), Sioned Saunders (Witch), Kieran Urquhart (Bruno), Elexi Walker (Mrs Jenkins) and Justin Wilman (Mr Jenkins).
