ARE you aged between 7 and 12 and enjoy writing? If the answer is yes then you could be the first Junior Reviewer for the Kings Theatre.

The Southsea venue is inviting young creative writers to submit a 200 word review on their favourite film or book.

The winner will be invited (a family ticket – 2 adults and 2 children) to see Gangsta Granny and up to five future family productions at the Kings Theatre this year including Cirque De Glace, the Easter pantomime: Beauty and the Beast and the Christmas Pantomime: Snow White. The Junior Reviewer will then write a review for each show that will be published online.

Please email your film or book review to marketing@kingsportsmouth.co.uk or drop it into the Kings Theatre box office. Please address the envelope to the “Marketing Department & Junior Reviewer”. Closing date for the competition is Tuesday February 7.

*In February the Kings welcomes back the fantastic production of Gangsta Granny, written by David Walliams.

'I am over the moon that 'Gangsta Granny' is coming to the stage. It's the most popular of all my books and I am sure this production by the brilliant Birmingham Stage Company will delight not just children but their parents and of course grandparents', said David Walliams

It runs from Wednesday February 15 to Saturday February 18.
