THE Point plays host to Avant Garde Dance as they present Fagin’s Twist this weekend.
A fusion of hip hop and contemporary dance, the production is a dark, enthralling story that follows the early years of the notorious Charles Dickens character.
Fagin’s Twist is the untold story of a notorious and complex villain. It imagines Fagin’s youth, driven by greed and ambition in the face of overwhelming poverty. The streets are a place of little comfort and fairy-tale endings are hard to find in this poignant coming-of-age tale.
A highlight of The Point’s autumn season of dance, Fagin’s Twist is an ambitious contemporary dance spectacular, commissioned by The Place and presented by Avant Garde Dance.
Described as a dynamic rethink and featuring a spine-tingling score, this is a fantastic opportunity to see the highly-anticipated production in the intimate setting of The Point’s auditorium.
Tickets for the show, tonight and tomorrow night, are available from thepointeastleigh.co.uk or 023 8065 2333.
