CALENDAR Girls became the fastest selling tour show ever and triumphed in the West End.
It returns home to Chichester – where the show received its world premiere – for one final season from Wednesday January 27, 2010.
Producers have confirmed that Lynda Bellingham, most recently seen on BBC1’s Strictly Come Dancing, will return for the Chichester season in the role of Chris Harper, which she also played at The Mayflower.
She will be bringing a brand new set of Calendar Girls with her including Gemma Atkinson, Judith Barker, Debbie Chazen, Letitia Dean and Jan Harvey.
A hit film in 2003, the story is based upon true-life events. Calendar Girls follows the fortunes of a group of extraordinary women, all members of a very ordinary Yorkshire Women’s Institute who persuade each other to pose for a charity calendar with a difference.
Calendar Girls is at Chichester Festival Theatre until February 6.
