THIS show by Bishopstoke’s under-25s is fresh and energetic but sometimes appears under rehearsed, with lapses in lines and concentration.
Starlover, the story of singer Magdelena (Kate Robbins, suitably charismatic) was too cliched to engross, and Pool (no Water) by Mark Ravenhill, about old friends exploiting an accident, was well-directed but the cast struggle with complex choreography.
The wartime drama Trains features some subtle lighting, and Jessica Dillon’s acting also shows great promise.
