IT’S the day of reckoning for amateur theatre enthusiasts across Hampshire.

Actors, actresses, directors and crew will tonight hear if they have scooped one of the coveted Curtain Call Awards 2010 for their performances in last year’s top am dram shows.

The Production of the Year and 36 other gongs will be presented by Graham Cole, pictured, who famously played PC Stamp in The Bill, at the event, dubbed the Oscars of the South.

Performing Arts Company, Ringwood Musical and Dramatic Society and Stickman Productions will provide entertainment for the evening, compered by the Daily Echo’s editor Ian Murray and entertainments editor Lorelei Reddin.

The sold-out awards take place at Southampton’s De Vere Grand Harbour Hotel, preceded by a three-course dinner and followed by a disco.

For all the winners, see our special four page feature in Monday’s Daily Echo.
