LITTLE Orphan Annie, the loveable red-head with a twinkle in her eye and a song in her heart, comes to The Nuffield next week, accompanied by more than 50 performers, a full orchestra and a dog!

Footlights Youth Theatre present Annie, one of the most successful shows ever to grace Broadway.

Eleven-year-old Rosie Mellett, of Portswood Primary School, has secured the coveted title role.

“Annie has been a big thrill for me!” she said. “I’m sure that just as soon as it’s finished, I shall want to do it all over again!”
