GET ready for some belly laughs when some of the biggest names in comedy come to the Ashcroft Arts Centre in Fareham this year.

After walking the wall in the West Bank, becoming Guinness World Record holder for political protests and chasing arms dealers around the country, Mark Thomas turns his attention to matters closer to home with Bravo Figaro – Work in Progress, a show about his father on July 19.

The hilarious Andi Osho presents a brutally honest dissection of the perils and pitfalls of dating with her latest show All the Single Ladies on Thursday, September 27.

Following his sold-out performance last year, the venue welcomes Russell Kane back on October 3 with his latest show Posturing Delivery.

Known for his unrestrained wackiness, both on shows like Harry Hill’s TV Burp and stage, Harry Hill performs live at the Ashcroft Arts Centre for two dates, on October 30 and 31, when he will be trying out new material for his latest show.

Professional Grumpy Old Woman, writer and panto star Jenny Éclair visits the Ashcroft on October 11 with her latest show Éclairious.

Expect razor-sharp observations and scandalous oneliners from Jo Caulfield on November 15 as she discusses irritating girlfriends, saying the “wrong” thing and wrestling with the self-scanner in Tesco.

Chris Ramsey, Edinburgh Comedy Award nominee, brings his new show Feeling Lucky to the Ashcroft on December 13.

Pop experts Frisky and Mannish return to the Ashcroft with their latest show Extra Curricular Activities on December 19.

The Ashcroft Arts Centre is also planning plenty of laughs for next year, with tickets on sale for Milton Jones on January 17 and Richard Herring on February 13.

As well as bringing big names in comedy to the stage, the centre is also giving you the chance to say ‘I saw them before they were famous’ with their Avalon Comedy Nights, showcasing up and coming talent.

Among the line-up are Peacock and Gamble from Russell Howard’s Good News on October 4. See Carl Donnelly (Mock the Week) and Matt Forde (a writer for 8 Out Of 10 Cats) on November 1 and Wittank, stars of BBC3’s Live at the Electric on December 6.
