A dynamic dance line-up launches with the premiere of Lila Dance’s new work The Incredible Presence of a Remarkable Absence on September 27.

This double bill reimagines Samuel Beckett’s seminal work Working for Godot, examining the reactions of the four characters to their surroundings as they await salvation.

Shakespeare has never been so accessible to theatre buffs, with the all-male theatre company Propeller presenting a 60-minute reimagining of one of Shakespeare’s most masterful plays in Pocket Henry V.

Performing The Bard’s texts in a clear humorous and enlightening style, Propeller provide an inspiring introduction to Shakespeare for audience members aged eight upwards on October 19.

Olivier Award-winning dramatist Mike Kenny puts his own spin on the classic children’s fairytale Rumpelstiltskin.

This reworking of the well known tale is presented by the children’s theatre company Hiccup Theatre. Live music, puppetry and inventive storytelling promise to make this adaptation a perfect show for all the family on October 13.

The Incredible Book Eating Boy (September 15) tells the story of Henry who has a voracious appetite for knowledge.

Adapted for the stage from the award-winning story, this production uses puppetry and projection – and is performed for just two people at a time in a special mini theatre!

Be prepared for The Point’s series of comedy bringing favourite Mark Thomas back with his new show Brave Figaro. The sharp political comic turns his attention to his father, a selfemployed builder who had a secret passion for opera. Mark will be appearing at the Eastleigh venue on November 23.

Comedian Mark Steel is back on the circuit with Mark Steel’s In Town where he recounts every town he’s performed in with hilarious observations, on October 20.

This year’s Christmas performance is a retelling of Hans Christian Anderson’s The Snow Queen presented by the talented Youth Theatre. The Snow Queen runs from December 19 until Christmas Eve.
