THE DIARY OF ANNE FRANK

SOUTHAMPTON audiences have a rare opportunity to see a powerful new version of one of the 20th century’s most enduring stories.

This summer is the 70th anniversary of the betrayal of Otto Frank, his family and friends to the Nazi occupying forces, after hiding in a cramped attic for over two years. Next week, Nuffield theatregoers can share their struggle in a powerful and moving adaptation of Anne’s diaries by Southampton University Players, the university’s am dram group that celebrates its 50th anniversary in 2014.

Anne Frank runs from Tuesday to Saturday. Call 023 8067 1771 or visit nuffieldtheatre.co.uk
