THE nation's favourite ballroom couple are taking to the road once again.

Anton Du Beke and Erin Boag present Just Gotta Dance, their thrilling new show for 2016.

Erin, who appeared on the first ten series of Strictly Come Dancing, is looking forward to returning to the stage after a break to have a baby.

She told Lorelei Reddin: "This is the eighth tour and I did miss one, but I was very pregnant at the time. It's nice to be back!

"It's a gorgeous evening of beautiful music, beautiful dancing and beautiful costumes. We have a big live orchestra and you will see Anton and I doing what we do best."

Professional partners since 1997, Anton Du Beke & Erin Boag have become household names and dance icons.

Shortly after Erin moved to the UK from her native New Zealand, via a few years in Australia, to pursue her dancing career, the couple first met and started winning trophies.

They caught the eye of prime-time TV producers in 2004 and their careers took off from there, filling theatres and auditoriums with their live tours and performing at the Royal Albert Hall and Royal Festival Hall.

"We've had 20 years together and we're like an old married couple!

"Starting rehearsals for this tour without Anton was interesting shall we say, but I was so proud and pleased with what he was doing on Strictly (Anton reached the final for the first time with newscaster Katie Derham)."

The pair will be joined on stage by star vocalist Lance Ellington, six world-class ensemble dancers and the 25-piece London Concert Orchestra conducted by Richard Balcombe.

The programme will include timeless classics such as Fever, New York, New York, Night And Day, Too Darn Hot, Downtown, Jealousy, Bye Bye Blackbird and Lullaby On Broadway.

The show will also have a q and a section, allowing the audience to interact with Anton and Erin.

Just Gotta Dance is at Southampton's Mayflower Theatre on Sunday. It also stops at The Anvil in Basingstoke on Thursday February 11 and The Pavilion Theatre in Bournemouth on Saturday February 13.
