FOR their inaugural show, newly minted Fareham Musical Society Youth Theatre presented a compilation of songs and dances from a number of shows.
These ranged from Whistle down the Wind to Shrek and proved a clever selection that showcased the talents of the company.
The cast brought an admirable enthusiasm and energy to the production.
While some full company numbers could have been slicker with more rehearsal time, they nevertheless had a charm of their own.
The singing was of a high quality and the musical productions had a great deal of flair.
The company contains members with real talent and stage presence.
Of particular note were Harry and Finley Rowsell for Agony from Into the Woods, the two more experienced members of the cast Ewan Wharton and Elliot Swann, and Lottie Hall and Freya O’Grady.
This is a company to watch.
