Long gone are the nights out in Las Vegas or city trips to Prague, as a shift in trends has seen couples celebrate the last of their freedom closer to home.

Matt Mavir, Managing Director of Last Night of Freedom said: “Lockdown opened a lot of people’s eyes to the joys of Britain. Staycations really made us appreciate that there’s more to the UK than London and few other big cities.
“Since the pandemic, we’ve had fewer groups heading to traditional hotspots like Munich and Ibiza. However, that’s been more than balanced out by a huge upswing in demand for the likes of Southampton.”
Industry data shows that many of the traditional big hitters still reign supreme with stags and hens.
End-of-year figures show Newcastle was Europe’s top stag party destination, with Liverpool favoured by brides-to-be.
