THE wait is over for thousands of amateur dramatics devotees from across the south.
Actors, actresses, directors,designers and technicians found out if they have been put forward for a prestigious Daily Echo Curtain Call Award for 2009 when the nominations were published this week.
Our team of ten impartial judges have been scouring Hampshire and beyond for the past year, searching for the very best amateur theatre has to offer.
Hundreds of nominees in all 37 categories had their achievement published in Wednesday’s Daily Echo.
The winners will be announced at our glittering Curtain Call awards ceremony in January.
The tenth annual bash will be held at Southampton’s De Vere Grand Harbour Hotel on Friday, January 29, 2010.
