THIS year has been full of ups and downs for everyone - no matter who you are, where you live, or what you do.
Some might say that 2021 has been one of their most difficult years, and will be welcoming the start of a new year.
Here at the Daily Echo we've documented some of the amazing - and silly - things that have happened throughout 2021.
To celebrate the end of the year, we've put together a three-part series of all our favourite moments to share with you as part of a little flashback on what this year has brought us.
You can take a look at part one published yesterday by clicking here.
Here are some of the silly things we did in the name of local news:

WATCH: We went alpaca walking at a Hampshire farm – and it did not disappoint
Echo reporter Sam Hatherley has braved a number of weird things this year.

He visited Hensting Alpacas in Otterbourne.

REVIEW: We ate at Southampton's worst-rated KFC... and this is what we thought
Sam also did this... We're not too sure why.

Ever wanted to be a bus driver? Now is your chance - and we've had a go behind the wheels!
Our reporter Maya George was treated to an experience most of us will never have.
First Bus offered bus drivers the opportunity to drive a bus at an open day at their depot in November.
To get a better understanding of what the open day entailed, Maya visited First Bus' depot in Empress Road and got behind the wheel of a City Red bus.

REVIEW: We tasted and tested the brand new vegan burger at McDonald's
Back in October McDonald's released its vegan-friendly and aptly-named McPlant burger.
Naturally, Sam grabbed one for himself, took a selfie with it and told basically everyone he could about his experience.
