Meon ValleyThis is a new constituency, an additional one for Hampshire, including the towns of Waterlooville and Horndean, covering commuter areas for Portsmouth. It shows all the signs of becoming a marginal between the Conservatives and the Liberal Democrats. Experts have calculated that had it existed at the time of the 2005 general election, the Tories would have won it, by a majority of only 2,400 over the Liberal Democrats.
